Statement on ethical and responsible handling of data and information

•     We comply with the requirements of Czech laws, sub-legal standards and EU standards.
•     We respect the rights of data owners and the privacy of users.
•     We behave responsibly and efficiently in the care of data within the defined legal scope.
•     The priority is the security of the operation of ICT services and the security of all parts of the infrastructure, their components and set functionalities.

For security we have:

•     functional security infrastructure;
•     processes in place to detect and resolve security incidents;
•     a motivated internal team of ICT specialists who consistently review detected anomalies and verify the functionality of their work.
•     users can use the contact resources of the Informatics Centre to positively influence the operation of ICT services, security and data protection.

Data management focuses on:

•     controlling access to data according to the process and competency given by the Data Manager/Asset Guardian.
•     proper management of resources - licenses, storage space, minimizing duplication of data and information;
•     storage and processing of data in the territory of the Czech Republic.
